We place the tables and chairs you need inside the barn, but you take care of setting up and breaking down for all events

Arrival at noon for a Sunday event and 10:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday, ending at 10:00 a.m. sharp the following day

The Barn has 2 cottages available to rent to the Wedding Party and or their guests
2 Bedroom Cottage - $200.00 per night plus $100.00 cleaning fee
3 Bedroom Cottage - $300.00 per night plus $100.00 cleaning fee
2 night minimum for two-day packages 1 night minimum for one day-packages
Additional fees
$225.00 Wedding liability Insurance to be purchased by the client through the barn’s Insurance provider. The Insurance provider will contact the client to coordinate receipt of payment/paperwork needed.
$250.00 for off duty policeman who must be present the entire time alcohol is being consumed.
$500.00 Damage Deposit - Deposit will be refunded provided no damages or abuse to the property have occurred
To Reserve:
Signed Rental Contract and deposit of 50% of the total of all fees $500.00 refundable damage deposit as a separate payment
$250.00 security rental when serving alcohol Final payment is due 60 days prior to the event

The Barn is an outdoor venue, so there is a strong probability that you will need to financially plan for the following to ensure the comfort of your guests: tents, heaters or additional fans, etc.
The Barn has 4 propane heaters available to rent
Our 36x48 foot pavilion is now equipped with patio curtains to protect you from the rain!
Food Service: The Barn does not require a licensed caterer and you are welcome to choose a caterer or restaurant of your choice. We do, however, provide a list of caterers and restaurants for you to choose from if you need suggestions.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
The following is a list of rules and regulations to be upheld by Client(s), which includes all EVENT PLANNERS, WEDDING COORDINATORS, and VENDORS who are involved in the planning and execution of the special event on the premises of The Barn at Young Harris, Inc.
(a) ALCOHOL: An Off-duty policeman is required to be present the entire time alcohol is being consumed. The cost for the off-duty policeman is $250.00 to be paid to the barn the day the venue is reserved. The barn will schedule the policeman once a timeline has been established by the client(s). Consumption of alcohol must end no later than 11:00 p.m. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 IS ALLOWED TO DRINK ALCOHOL

(b). SMOKING: All rooms and buildings are Non-Smoking. Renter agrees to provide designated smoking area for guests that smoke.
(c) PETS: Pets are not allowed on the property or in the rental cottages. Exceptions for pets to be allowed on the Barn property only may include pets participating in wedding or event and/or guide dogs for the visually impaired. Renter will be responsible for removing pet waste from designated areas.
(d) MUSIC: As a courtesy to our surrounding neighbors, amplified music must remain inside the barn and be turned off by 11:00 p.m.

(e) VACATING: As we offer Sunday or one day weddings it is mandatory that all personal belongings be removed from the venue no later than 10:00 a.m. the day after a wedding or event. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

(f) BARBECUES/GRILLS: Barbecues and grills are to be used outside only and in an area designated by the Barn. No fires are to be started, with the exception of the fire pit, directly on the grounds of the venue.
(g) DECORATIONS: Decorations may not be hung with tacks, nails or screws in the Barn, Pavilion, Pergola or Cottages. All decorations must be removed without leaving damages directly following the departure of the last guest, unless special arrangements have been made between the Client(s) and the venue. No silk flower petals are allowed.

(h) LIGHTS AND AIR CONDITIONERS: Must be turned off at the end of each night by Client(s) or someone assigned by Client(s).
(i). CANDLES: All candles must be contained or enclosed in glass. The flame must not reach higher than 2 inches below the height of the glass.
(j) EVENT ENDING TIMES: All events and weddings must end by 11:00 p.m. each night in order to allow for cleanup and closure of the site by midnight.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH VENUE POLICIES WILL FORFEIT SECURITY DEPOSIT.
